As we launch new turbo models, we are also updating the naming convention to the commonly used, inducer of compressor, exducer of turbine, preceded by the compressor aero utilized in the model. An 'S' at the end, still indicates if the turbo utilizes the UHF™ splitter-blade turbine wheel or if absent an 'S' the turbo model utilizes a traditional full blade design.

The existing models use previous nomenclature: the first set of numbers refer to the mass flow in lbs/min.  For example, an XR6564S has a 65lb/min flow rate.  The second set of numbers indicates the turbine discharge in mm, in this case 64mm turbine discharge.  The “S” indicates that the turbine is the UHF wheel aero.
